LIZ LACHMAN is an EMMY AWARD winning musician and composer, a GOLDEN REEL AWARD winning music editor, and a BMI TV MUSIC AWARD winner.
As a writer/director, her first short film, GETTING TO KNOW YOU, featuring Dana Delaney, Ian Gomez, and Elizabeth Keener, won 9 film festivals, was invited to screen in over 90 festivals world-wide and was chosen for LOGO’s Best in Short Film Series.
As a writer she created and sold the TV series DESTINY to Kingworld, created the story and wrote the feature film FINAL DAYS for Here!TV, has had a number of feature screenplays optioned, and was a staff writer for the cable series DANTE’S COVE.
She co-wrote the book “Susan Feniger’s STREET Cookbook” with over 200 recipes and travel stories from the venerable, well traveled chef.
Liz directed Marie Osmond in 2 videos spoofing Dancing With the Stars that both appeared on Entertainment Tonight, viewed hundreds of thousands of times and shot and directed the web series STREETNOISE, following celebrity Chef Susan Feniger as she opened her first solo restaurant in Los Angeles.
Liz has had a number of original songs placed in television and records and co-wrote the score for PUPPY LOVE, winner of Best Short Film in the LA Film Festival.
She’s also written SMASH BANG! a comedy action-adventure graphic novel and is currently at work on the book “NO ESCAPE: My horrible food travels with Chef Susan Feniger…a love story” which chronicles being dragged around the world with the bubbly “love everything” chef, while Liz hates …well almost everything.
